Creating safe spaces for queer youth.
What we've been building
Four new brands. One mission.
Each brand below takes the mental health work SameSame already does and delivers it through a door young people will actually walk through. A breakup. A hustle. A faith conflict. An everyday struggle. Different doors, same work.
HeartWork
A breakup is one of the few moments a young person actively goes looking for mental health support. HeartWork is built to be there when they do.
GoalDigger
Financial stress is a leading driver of poor mental health in young adults. GoalDigger addresses it through goal coaching, not therapy framing. Most users so far are young men.
Queerly Beloved
For queer Christians, the conflict between faith and identity is a major driver of distress. Queerly Beloved combines affirming faith content with mental health support, in the same place.
SabiSabi
Nigeria has one of the youngest populations in the world and one of the smallest mental health workforces. SabiSabi takes a model SameSame has already validated to where the need is largest.
Watch King’s Story
Our chatbot's CBT content is adapted from Project Youth AFFIRM, an intervention that combines cognitive-behavioural therapy with identity affirmation for LGBTQI+ youth. In published studies, 63% of AFFIRM participants reported reduced depression and 72% came to see stress as a challenge rather than a threat. That is why we built on it.
